Everyone loves good food. For me this love of food, combined with a somewhat obsessive curiosity, led me, over the course of my life, to work with some extraordinary chefs. This collection of seasonings and culinary ingredients grew out of my many years of cooking experience. My name is Brien Seay and I am the founder of Blackbird Food Company and the creator of the Handmade Culinary Collection.
I believe in the value of home-cooked meals, where people take time to relax and connect with each other. I believe in experimentation and the creative process that is inherent in cooking and I am committed to producing great-tasting healthy food. As a chef I also know that a well-crafted seasoning, or even just the right spice or herb for that matter, can be magical in the way that it transforms a simple dish into an amazing meal.
